At least the joint efforts of Maja and Charlotte have a positive side effect: For the first time in many years, a reasonably trusting relationship develops between the two women. While Charlotte keeps forging new plans to help her daughter find love, Maja begins to be interested in the life of her father Otto von Wiesenthal, who died at an early age. Her mother had always praised the man highly. Maja is all the more shocked when, during research, she discovers that Otto von Wiesenthal cannot possibly be her biological father.
